Well I have been moving things, rethinking things, painting things, hanging twinkle lights, and of course shopping around for hidden treasures to add to my studio. I am also working on redoing my back porch for the summertime. I want to make a whimsical, shabby, enchanting outdoor area. I plan on painting the concrete finally. That of course is first on my list. Then it is the search for the perfect blend of completely mismatched fabrics. (You know thats one of my favorite things) .
ALICE AND WHITE RABBIT
This is the entrance to the Rabbit Hole. Watch out though because you just my trip on my unfinished floor, but thats ok, as your falling you are sure to see some wonderful sites. Yes I do plan on finishing the faux wood floors. I love this stuff. I forget the name but I put it in the twins' room and you just cant destroy this stuff. And it really is pretty. Next best thing to the real wood(and lots cheaper). My dress form is one of my favs. Her name is Alice. She is my oldest. My hubby always jokes about we have so many extra bodies standing around the house, they should start paying rent. Ha Ha. I love my girls. I just cant help but picking them up every time I see a vintage one for sale. I will make room. I tell him they keep me company, and I can talk to them about anything.
I am also in the process of getting rid of all my plastic containers,(Boring) and trying to purchase a little at a time of unique treasures, or enchanting junk finds that I can creatively use to hold all my wonderful goodies. A little at a time.
CUTE LITTLE SHELF
I love this shelf. It was actually the babies bookshelf when they were little. They colored all over it. I gave it a fresh shabby coat of paint and tad-ah, isn't it cute. It is perfect for my jars. This picture doesn't have the twinkle lights, but now I even have a strand of lights that make the jars sparkle. Chess loves it. It gives him a new home along with one of my fav little rabbit. And I love my collection of S&P shakers that hold my glitter. I am always on the lookout for more.
AND HERE HE IS
MR BIG AND COMFY
This is where I fall asleep every night( or I should say early morning when I have worked all night in the studio) I love this chair. It is the most comfortable place to relax and read, or just blog. After crafting or sewing bent over a table for long periods of time, this place is just right.
Well it is time to get back to creating new things. I have enjoyed sharing with you today, as I always do. I hope you had some fun, and if you want to join me for coffee and just some fun ideas, or stories, well feel free to drop by anytime. Something new is always happening and you never know the enchanting things we may discover together. And sometimes we have pie. I always love pie.
Good night everyone and enchanted dreams.
