Hello my lovely friends. I entered my very first Swap this month. It was a Rosette Swap. I am so excited about sending it. It is going to be a surprise. I can't wait for this special lady to receive her gifts. I don't know her and she doesn't know me, but she sounds wonderful, and I am so glad to be able to send her this.
I made a large Rosette Hair clip, a romantic wrist cuff, and a pillow.
This large Rosette hair clip was made out of vintage raw silk. I found a whole bolt for $10 at an antique store last year. One of my favorite buys ever. I love this fabric. I then made a card to attach it to. I used corrugated board. After lots of stamping, some lace, crepe paper, a paper flower, and my favorite white rabbit tag, well the card was as cool as the rosette.
My large gift was this one of a kind Romantic wrist cuff. Made out of vintage laces and lots of great fabrics with some awesome trims. The rosette is adorned with pearl and rhinestone for bling.
I love this on. It is absolutely enchanting.
I had to have something to wrap it around for traveling and for display, so I added a little pillow to my gift. It can be used to hold your wrist cuff, or for anything else.
I love it. And in keeping with the rosette theme. I added a little button and lace rosette.
I cant wait until she gets it. I hope it makes her smile as much as it made me smile.
I also finished another order today for custom overalls.
I guess I was just in the rosette mood, because I even managed to put one on this little girl's overalls
Have a Wonderfully Mad and Curiously Enchanted Day......
