I am so excited about joining in the Art Bag Challenge hosted by Anna over at Frosted Petunias. She is such an inspiration to me daily, and I just love anything she gets together.
For February the rule was Altered Bag.
My inspiration was Valentine's and all the love in the air during February...
and my one true love is no other than that Hat wearing Heartthrob.
We have a Mad Love
This is my little bag I carry when he and I stroll through Wonderland during that love filled month.
But I have to be "Oh so careful", because with all these HEARTS...
I know someone else that might have my head
and my little bag as well.
Here is the before pic. It was first an old antique lunch pail.
And now "Abracagiggly-dabra"
Here is "MAD LOVE"
I hope you all enjoy it
I used the wrappers off of little Valentine Hershey Kisses, that my boys had eaten to cover one end of the bag...(I told the boys what I was doing and I heard one tell Big Hatter..
"Daddy, I have to eat all this candy. Mommy is creating with it"
Hehehehe.
And I could not leave out my ode to the traditional carving of initials in the tree
for two lovers to remember their love affair.
H -n- W 4ever ..
(that is Hatter and Wendy from Wonderland) of course.
And the little colored heart that the words lie on was colored and cut out by none other than my little hatter JON JON
The handle with a little dangling heart charm.
a little tinsle heart and tulle
A Bag fit for any Wonderland Girl in Love.
Thank you Anna for the opportunity to have this much fun.
Please stop by and visit Anna and all the other Lovely Artful Bags.

Wendy,
What a whimsical delight! I think your ode to the Hatter would even make the Red Queen fall in love! Sparkles, lace, pink, flowers, AAANNND chocolate memories (wrappers....I might just faint with happiness! This is absolutely love-ly. Way to work your magic! :)

LOOOOOVE IT!! It's so pink and flowery and deliciously mad!I love all the whimsical layers and how divine that it was a lunch pail. So sweet that it was also a family affair. I think we should take our mad little bags and brew up a Valentine Tea :)
