A Witch's Tea Party , Halloween Extended version

Yes, yes, yes......Just say it 

I'm LATE

Of course....I try, but it never fails....

With this post I am doing many things....

Wrapping up SPOOKY MONDAYS, HALLOWEEN RECAP, and of course the most important

A WITCH'S TEA PARTY.....

Start with a spell

One eye of Newt

Two ears of Bat

and Raven feathers three

Stir the cauldron at least twelve times

and Brew your Witch's Tea

Hogwarts....You funny little toad

Of course you may have some more cake

How about you....What kind of goodies

Will tickle your taste buds today...

A pumpkin cookie, a spice cake, 

Perhaps a cupcake or piece of Candy Corn Pie

Oh my goodness.... how the time has gone by

The candles are lit and the hour is at hand.

What about some Magic before you go

 I have enjoyed this Wonderful little Soiree

with all of you lovely Witches that flew in for the evening

You have made my Halloween a most memorable one again

Now before I put my broomstick in the shop for a end of year tune up

and send my Dear Pumpkin Theives back to the Enchanted Forest for a rest

I would like to say a

Big Spookable Thank You 

to all of those wonderful Spirits that joined me for SPOOKY MONDAYS

this year.

As always.....I have a special gift for you and it will be in the mail soon...

A Mad Halloween Tea PARTY.....

Oh my very goodness, and my gracious

What time is it you say....Once again I am  so Very Late for a 

Wonderfully Important Party Day

But I am here with all my Wonderland friends 

and we Would love for you to stay 

and Party with us no matter how late, on this Day of all Party Days

 

 

Yes it is Miss Vanessa's Annual Halloween Party and we have joined in the fun, and 

Thank her with so Very Muchness that we were Invited to Play

So grab a Hat if you have not at least one

and it of course does not have to match

what you are wearing. 

You look absolutely VONDERFUL by the way.

The table is set 

The Chandeliers have been hung

and the trees have started to sprout teacups and 

the pumpkins are falling from the vines

The little hatters are playing in the yard 

Decorate a pumpkin if you would like

We love to stack hats

Grab some treats

Oh yes, dont be shy

Get you a cup or two or three of Tea

The Mad Hatters MAD HALLOWEEN BLEND

(with a little pumpkin surprise)

 

I had so much help from the fairies and the witches

We have brewed up so many delicious treats

FRog Syrup, and our Traditional WiTCHes Brew

and guess what else is on the menu today.

Oh Yes 

JABBERWOCKY STEW and JUB JUB Dip

and 

is that CHESS......(well yes it is)

and he is sure to dissapear today with the way he taste.

We have caramel apples and

Bandersnatch Eyes

The Queen of Hearts Halloween TArts

and Mini Pecan Pies

Cookies, Candy, Cakes, and Cupcakes

Galore.....

Yes, oh yes....You can have more.

We will all eat until we roll out the door.

Dont forget a slice of TOP HAT CAKE

Oh it is so much fun sharing in a Wonderfully delightful

Spooky Monday .....A journey with the spirits

HAPPY SPOOKY MONDAYS

I am reposting a Spooky Monday from last year due to tech difficulties.

 

We have made some renovations to our property. We added a family cemetary and a pumpkin patch. Besides what would a haunted house be without a graveyard.

You can hear the spirits laugh and sing as the moon rises in the sky

They joke of lives that they had before and talk of times gone by.

They dance and sway to the songs of the night

To a stranger strolling by it can be such a fright

Listen close and you will hear

The tales these spirits do tell

Of murder, mayhem, mystery and love

You are sure to fall under their spell

I have sat many nights listening to the old souls

They have taken me far from this place

I treasure each word with such delight

And shiver as my heart does race.

 

So if you are out strolling

On any a dark night

and you crave a tale

of love or fright

Stop by and listen to the bones that dance

In the Moss Hill cemetary

on a moon lit night

among the vines and the children of this

wonderfully Enchanted land

My Back porch is becoming a home to

Oh no, these are not just any pumpkins

They are full of Halloween Magic.

 
 

As the days get cooler, and the leaves

start to fall and change colors

 

These special pumpkins will also begin to change.

A Witchy Bag for a Tea Under the Moon

Its coming soon, and you must attend

 

It will be the talk of Halloween you see

When the moon is full on All Hallows Eve

Anna from Frosted Petunias is hosting her Witchy Tea

No proper witch would attend the Tea of the Season

without a proper bag

 
 

So to go along with my stripey stockings(which are a must)

 

I have created the perfect little purse to show off that evening

With lots of lace and sheer rosettes, and fall flowers

 

and just the right amount of Bling

Of course, it is just the perfect size to fit a few herbs

and a candle or two

 

maybe some lovely red lipstick

 
 

and even my little friend Hogwarts could ride along.

 

I am late as usual, but joining Dearest Anna at Frosted Petunias for her

This is my altered bag for October and it all started with this little plastic container that I bought a Hat in and then after the MAGIC.....

I cannot send something out without a great box

so I decided to draw Miss Green Witch with Sprinkles.

Isn't it Absolutely adorable.

 

I love the sweet little witch

surrounded by lots of fall delights

and I imagine opening up my tin and walking into

the Spooky Haunted House.

but ohhhhhhh I am sooo very tired this evening.....

My eyes are getting so very heavy and well maybe if I just rest them for a sec.

What is this? How long was I asleep.

 

Does the lighting look odd. So sparkly and twinkly

Like a Dream... A spooky dream

 
 

What is this place.

Does it look like a pumpkin patch. A magical pumpkin patch.

 

Lets pick one.  Shall we.

Do you know who these pumpkins might belong to.

That is right the Pumpkin Gypsy Witch.

 
 

Have you heard of her before... Oh yes that is right

We played in her forest last year.

with her mischievious pumpkin thieves

 

I love the Enchanted Forest

It is full of all kinds of Magic

What is that lying up against that tree.

A broom....

 

Yes lets hop on and see where we go...

would you like to travel further into Wonderland.

 
 

Wonderland in October is Spooky Mad

and Hauntingly Exciting and Magical at the same time.

I will take you through the Magical Mirror on our next trip

We might dance with the dead, sing with the spirits, speak of tragic loves, or have tea with some very Mad characters indeed.

Practical Magick Party...Spells and Love

I have a tale to tell

of witches, magick, love, and spells....

 

 

..Journey with me through the woods of Moss Hill

an Enchanted Forest that speaks of mysterious magick

and whispers the names of two beautiful enchantresses

 

...Winifred Belladonna and AnnaCherie Vervain

were actually cousins ,  but in this world you must know that

a sisterhood between Witches is just that.

They were Sisters.

Winifred and AnnaCherie were not the luckiest when it came to

matters of the Heart.

Not that they had any problem getting men to

fall in love with them

but keeping them was a different story.

 

Winifred's heart would forever belong to a dark spirit

who was cursed to roam the forest and could always see

Winifred but never touch.

They lived with the constant knowledge that the other was

always in arms reach, but never close enough to touch.

AnnaCherie on the other hand, had the problem of too many loves.

 

She held so many lovers in her arms as they died, while

a Jealous Lover looked on with blood on his hands.

After many duals, fights, and jealous driven murders

AnnaCherie decided it would be better not to love another,

knowing the outcome would be a short lived love affair

ending in certain doom for the young man who dared to take her heart.

 

After many years Winifred and AnnaCherie found their home

amongst the tall Pines and Oaks of the Moss Hill Woods

In a Cottage that sits in an unuasual part in the woods.

 

The trees make a circular pattern around the cottage as if each

Great tree is looking over the Two Sisters.

They have been heard singing through the woods, and

dancing about under the light of the full moon.

 
 

It is said you can hear the laughter of the sisters when

the wind blows through the branches.

You may also hear the voice of a lady and a gentleman as they whisper to each other words of the Truest Love.

 

And if you are not afraid, and if  you can find your way,

They have been known to help a soul or two.

A young girl hoping to find the man of her dreams,

or a young man wishing to win the heart of his desire.

has an entire article for a Mad Tea Party

with a Halloween Twist.

 

I love the mismatched thrift store clothing.

I actually just bought a ton of new items a few days ago from Goodwill

 

I love the oversized playing cards and the sillouettes

and of course....

 

The Wonderfully Mad Hats.

I am working with my cousin to get a Mad Halloween Tea Party together.

So stayed tuned for the date and announcement.
