Come with me children and witches of all ages
We are going to attend a wonderous Tea Party in Wonderland
And it is not just any other tea party but a Halloween Witch's Tea.
I have come through that mirror in the wardrobe over there.
All you have to do is follow me back. Heheheheheh!
What is that you say? Who's tea is it. Here in the woods of wonderland, lives the Pumpkin Gypsy Witch, as well as many others. But Halloween is her time and she throws all the good parties (as some of you may well know that attended her other Spooky Halloween Dance )
I'm sure there will be many there that you know, and some you may not, but it is sure to be a splendiferous, spooky, and enchanting time.
***Oh and yes there will be many sweet delights, and scrumptious confections****
We must make a few stops before we get there.
Now where did I put that key. There it is.....
So Twinkly toes and fire, and tally, toppity, tum, Through the Looking Glass we come
Weeeeeeeeeee! Did we all make it.
I hope no one was left behind. They would be missing a magical time indeed.
The first stop we need to make is the magical pumpkin patch. Are any of you pumpkin thieves. Well you are about to get your first lesson. You see it just wouldn't be polite to come to a party without a gift for the hostess.
There are so many wonderful plump pretties to pick from. Let me see. How about this one.
Yes. Just the right amount of magic and it is very orange as well.
This one will do just fine. Now go ahead and get yours and we shall be off again. You see that little path through the woods over there. That is where we shall go.
I'll race ya.
WEEEEEEEHEEEEEE! I forgot to tell you that you could fly if you wanted. The fairies will always beat you anyways.
What is that over there. Positively magical. Yes it is a Gypsy Caravan.
The wagon we have to stop at belongs to a magic man. He always has a very generous selection of herbs, potions, and goodies of all sorts.
It doesn't look like he is around at this moment, but I am sure he will not mind us taking a look.
What could that be? Hum looks like ruffled rumpkis tea leaves. I think we could use some of that.
Oh and this is perfect. Dragon bone dust. This is just the thing to spice up a sweet for that special someone.
He has lace torn from the bridal dress of a royal bride, and whats this? Hum. Looks like the skull of a baily troll. They shine purple in the dark you know.
Ohhh. Look at this. He even has a portrait of the Pumpkin Gypsy Witch herself. I think he may be related.
And look here. I know this picture. It is very familiar to me. Hum. The Pumpkin Gypsy had a sister. That looks like a picture I also have back on my table at the cottage. That will have to be a story for another time....
Candles for every kind of spell. And the most beautiful cuts of fabrics, stolen no doubt from a Sultan's camp.
A little of This and of That..
We shall just take a few things. I could use a bottle of this, a jar of that, a pinch of the dust stolen from a fairies nest.
And a few extra trinkets to send back with a some of you lucky adventurous travelers who have decided to come with me today. Make sure to sign my magic book when you finish your journey today. And if you are a follower or want to become a future follower, put another little comment letting me know. That will give you two chances to get a goodie.
Lets see what I can find other than the fairy dust jar, OOOOOHHHH what is this?
Looks like an exact replica of Alice's key. Oh yes that will do , and a scroll from an angel. What wonderful charms!
Ok don't forget to leave some payment.... for gypsies do not take kindly to being robbed. And one with magic powers is really not one to mess with.
What is that sound? AHHHH.. I see the little culprit from here. Yes of course you may fly with us to the tea party.
Shall we be off then. WEEEEEEHeeeeeee!!!
Ahhhhhh. Do you smell that. The scent of frog toe stew, yes that is it with a hint of mint and rosemary.
Oh and what is that lovely aroma. It is , it is cogsberry and juniper tea. Oh I hope she has crystal nut sugar to stir in, and maybe some butterblop dip. It goes wonderful with rose petals.
Can you wait, I can't..... Oh I am so excited.
There it is now. Just over there. Oh her caravan is so beautiful indeed. Chandeliers hanging from the trees, and fall leaves that surround everything that has sat still long enough for them to grow around.
Wouldn't you just like to sit down and rock amongst the leaves. Leaves of every color. Oranges and reds and yellows. Oh they are beautiful aren't they. And of course pumpkins are everywhere. Her Pumpkin theives have been awful busy.
Oh and what is that over there. Could it be. Yes it is the Witch's Hat. Oh how lovely. She will be here soon. I am sure of that.
Oh look. There is the table. Look at the wonderful little tea cups adorned with stars. Oh and that must be her broom. Well one of them. I am sure she has many. What is that in that jar. Fall wishes, and in that jar.... Ahhhh, it is....a captured brownie. Oh those little devils are so tricky. This one must have looked where he shouldn't have.
ooops.
Lets go in and sit closer. We shall now see who has arrived.
Ohhh everything smells so wonderful. Pumpkin juice and poliwog nips.
Delightful.
Oh look it is Nightshade. His brother Necromancer is running around somewhere. I am sure he is trying to catch a few low flying fairies. Naughty, naughty..
And there is Wendy. She is always at the best parties.
"Hello dear Wendy. Have you conjured any good magic lately"
Of course she says. It is the season for magic.
And what would a tea party be without Alice. She looks as if she is drinking a cup of numberry nonsense tea. Oh delicious. The smell will make you forget all your troubles.
Chess has already helped himself to a petunia berry
And who is that but the man himself. Yes it is the Hatter. "Hello Hatter, my love. What's that you say? Oh yes my broom has been flyinging backwards in an odd sort of way, and yes I have turned a few Ravens into writing desk. Oh and one I needed to use as a chair.
Look he knows the way to all the ladies hearts. He bought our hostess a pumpkin as well.
And look all the fairies are here. There is Sprite. The little mischief maker.
and look at our wee little friend here. He arrived on pumpkin carriage. A wonderful way to travel
Spirit. She loves to show off all her new dance moves.
and of course Precious. She is having pink petuniapetal tea and it looks like friddlepatch cookies, and a creamtatle cake.
So everyone grab you your favorite kind of tea, put a drop of your favorite flavoring or a sprinkle of your most scrumtious sugar, and eat, and be merry.
I think I will start with one of these.
There is strippleberry cake, and juniper dream, and kettlepea cupcakes, and look at the variety of teas. All in their wonderfully festive pumpkin teapots.
Figapolis Nortonberry, is a very renown fairy chef in this area of Wonderland. He doesn't do much flying around these days, as a result of tooo many poppleberry pies.
Look at that wonderfully scrumdilliumptious cake that the Hatter has chosen.
Oh yes. I would love a piece. Thank you.
"Oh you cad! My feet are shrinking"
I better get drink some of that toodletop tea to get them to grow back to normal.
That wonderful moon is beginning to shine down on our festivities. The wonderful blanket of night has fallen on us, and time for the spooky fun to really get started, Let me get another bite of that.
And look at the full teacup of confectionary masterpieces that Wendy has set her eyes on.
Yummy!
Well Look how beautiful the party is going. It is absolutely devine. I hate to have to sneak out, but I being I am always fashionably late to every party, I must be on my way to visit some other very special witches on this Magical Halloween Tea Party Day.
Of course you may stay and party as long as you would like and dont forget to sign my book for those special treats.
But if you are ready to fly, then lets go.
Lets sneak through the mirror behind the table. Down there. One two three
Weeeeeee!
We made it back through.
Oh look at the time. I must be on my broomstick now. Luv ya , and smooches to you all, I am on my way
Thank you so much to Anna Dearest at Frosted Petunias for Hosting this Wonderfully Magical Halloween Tea Party Under the Moon.
Visit her and all the others for some more wonderful parties.

Wendy, I had a superb time at your party! I do feel a bit guilty about stealing that pumpkin though! Oh, and I'm so full from all the delectable treats I think I'm going to burst! I do hope that magick gypsy doesn't put a hex on me for 'borrowing' from him . . . but I just had to have that silver candlestick!
Everything was just divine . . . thanks so much for sharing!
Blessed Be,
